Brazil is the largest country in South America and located on the eastern shores of South America. Brazil's population consists of nearly 200M and it is the fifth most populated

country in the world. Its largest and richest city is Sao-Paulo, hosting over 11M people. 

While Brazil represents 35% of Latin American population it represents 44% of the GDP of Latin American countries.  Brazil is the seventh largest economy in the world and has GDP of over 2 trillion dollars. In the last decade its GDP per capita tripled and is now at approx. $12,000. 

Private consumption is responsible for more than 50% of expenditure followed by government consumption and investments. Main economy contributors are natural resources, agriculture, mining, manufacturing and services.
